ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition praying to issue a passport to him by considering his representations dated 17.02.2015 and 30.04.2015.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representations of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection in considering the representations of the petitioner, on merits.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner, on the basis of the representations dated 17.02.2015 and 30.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
