O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent in RC.No.1604/2025/PDS2, dated 04.11.2025 and seeking consequential direction to the respondents to recognize and select the petitioner on the packers post.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner participated in the recruitment process pursuant to Notification No.1 of 2024 dated 09.10.2024. The petitioner, being unsuccessful, came to know the same through the provisional selection list published on 18.07.2025. The petitioner claims to have filed an appeal before the first respondent, which was rejected by passing the impugned proceedings dated 04.11.2025. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has approached this Court.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, Mr. Ajmal Khan, learned Additional Advocate General, submitted that all the notified vacancies, except one vacancy earmarked for SC/ST candidates, have been filled and the respective candidates were appointed as early as on 18.07.2025. In light of the above, the case of the petitioner in the present writ petition cannot be considered in the absence of the proper and necessary parties, namely, the selected candidates.

5. Further, the learned Additional Advocate General submitted that the petitioner has not secured the minimum cut-off marks under the category in which the petitioner claims for consideration, and that several more meritorious candidates are available for appointment over and above the petitioner.

6. In light of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition at this stage, particularly in the absence of the proper and necessary parties being impleaded. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh writ petition, if the petitioner still has any grievance. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
