PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the medical claim reimbursement of Rs.1,50,600/- with interest by considering petitioner's representation dated 11.10.2018 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner herein seems to have given a representation to the respondents herein, who may not be the appropriate authorities for disbursement of medical reimbursement.

2.On the other hand, as per G.O.Ms.202, Finance (Salaries) Department, dated 30.06.2016, it is the District Level Empowered Committee (hereinafter referred to as "DLEC" for brevity), which is the Committee constituted by the Government headed by the District Collector, having the Joint Director of Medical and Rural Health Services Department, the District Treasury Officer and an official representative of the Insurance Company as members, to redress the grievances of such claims.

3.In this regard, the petitioner is granted liberty to make a fresh claim before the DLEC for medical reimbursement and on receipt of such claim, DLEC shall consider the same on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, in 2/4

accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above liberty, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
