PETITION FOR BAIL Under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. PRAYER :- For Bail in connection with the case in S.C.No.10 of 2021 before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai, in Crime No.311 of 2020 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/accused is facing a case for the offences punishable under Sections 392, 394 and 397 IPC, in S.C.No.10 of 2021 before the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai, in Crime No.311 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.It is not in dispute that since the petitioner has not turned up for the hearing on 10.08.2021, Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) was ordered to be issued and the same was executed on 30.03.2022 and he is still in judicial custody.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the petitioner is having 15 previous cases, in which, four cases were already disposed of and that the case is posted for trial.

No.10429 of 2022 5.Considering the seriousness and gravity of the offence alleged against the petitioner and also the fact that the petitioner is having 11 pending cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, the learned trial Judge is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
