ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the Crime No.115 of 2022 on the file of the respondent Police.

2. The facts of the case are that the petitioner misbehaved with the victim Malathy while she was working at the Hospital. Hence the complaint has been preferred against the accused. The petitioner herein was an accused and he was charged for offences under Section 354A of IPC in Crime No.115 of 2022.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate submitted that now, the petitioner and the second respondent compromised the matter and settled the dispute out of the Court and to that effect, a compromise memo has been filed. Since the victim and the accused have settled their matter out of the court, and this matter is being a private affairs, continuation of criminal proceeding is unwarranted and no purpose will be served.

4. By accepting the compromise made by both the parties, the F.I.R is quashed.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is Allowed.
