The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to provide compassionate appointment to the petitioner in the light of the proceedings in Moo.Moo.53983/2019/PaA6, dated 03.12.2019, within the stipulated period.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ ____________

W.P.(MD) No.11697 of 2021 from Mr.Kannan, Superintendent, Highways Department, Madurai, who was present before this Court, submitted that after scrutiny of the application submitted by the petitioner seeking compassionate appointment, she is found to be eligible and the seniority number of the petitioner is 245 and as and when her turn comes, the petitioner will be provided compassionate appointment, if she is otherwise found to be eligible.
