Rathinasamy Nadar, now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty forthwith. For Petitioner :

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention, dated 11.07.2018 in M.H.S.Confdl.No.65/2018, detaining him as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.4099 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 28.09.2018, and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, the petition is dismissed.
