By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The limited prayer sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 15.03.2007 seeking re-fixation of the petitioner's seniority by way of including him in the 1996 Assistant Panel in the appropriate place.
3.Since the appeal is still pending, it would be appropriate to direct the first respondent to dispose it of expeditiously, within the stipulated time.
