ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2023, requesting deletion of the names of the private respondents from the revenue records pertaining to the property comprised in Survey No.231/3 situated at Poomparai Village, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District.
2. Heard the arguments of M/s. S. Bharthi, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.D.S.Nedunchezhian, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4, and Mr.K.Chengiz Khan, learned counsel for respondents 5 to 7.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject property originally belonged to his father, Sivasubramanian, under Patta No.340. It is contended that the names of the private respondents were included in Patta No.340 without notice to the petitioner's father. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 05.04.2023, seeking deletion of the names of the private respondents from the revenue records in respect of the said 2/5
survey number. Since no action has been taken on the said representation, the petitioner has approached this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law.

On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the private respondents 5 to 7 submitted that the total extent in Survey No.231/3 is 2 acres and 79 cents, out of which 1 acre and 33 cents was allotted to the father of respondents 5 to 7, namely, Manikkavel, under a registered partition deed dated 16.03.1994. Therefore, the private respondents also claim interest in the subject property.

In view of the submissions made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.04.2023 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, his father Sivasubramanian, and the private respondents 5 to 7. 3/5
7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. .
