Mr.S.Vinayak, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for the respondent - Corporation.

2. With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Corporation.

4. The short grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that his service register is not being maintained by the respondent - Corporation in proper manner and several entries, that are relevant to his service, have not been entered in his service register. In the light of the same, the petitioner claims to have submitted a representation dated 23.03.2026 to respondent seeking rectification and proper maintenance of his service register from 17.08.1990 till April, 2026. But, the said representation is not being considered by the respondent till date.

5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent - Corporation submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders would be passed within a period of eight weeks.

6. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 23.03.2026 submitted by the petitioner, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
