: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the body or person of petitioner's father, namely Sathiyanathan, S/o. Chinnaian, aged about 45 years before this Court and set him at liberty to the petitioner.

ORDER

****** (Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) The petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that his father, namely Sathiyanathan, S/o.Chinnaian, aged about 45 years, was found missing. Based on the complaint, a First Information Report was registered in Crime No.403 of 2016 as "man missing case". Since he has not been secured, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. A status report has been filed by the second respondent stating that they are taking steps to trace out the missing man by conducting enquiry with various persons.

3. Therefore, we direct the second respondent to expedite the investigation.
