ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's husband was working as Police Constable Grade - I. Her husband was a frontline worker during Covid-19. He died. Therefore, the petitioner seeks ex-gratia as per G.O (Ms) No.403 Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Disaster Management Wing, DMI(1) Section dated 05.08.2020. Under the said G.O, as many as twenty eight persons were given benefit. The petitioner wants the Government to treat her on par with them. It appears that the petitioner's case has already been recommended. The first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's case. If the similarly placed individuals have been given benefit, the petitioner shall also be treated likewise. An appropriate order shall be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
