Prayer: Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to set aside the judgement and decree passed in C.M.A.(CS).No.5/2010 dated 25.06.2014, on the file of the Principal District Court, Dindigul reversing the surcharge order in S.C.No.2/2009/Sa.Pa., dated 03.08.2009 passed by Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Palani and allowing this Civil Revision Petition. O R D E R

As against the order passed in a surcharge proceedings contemplated under Section 87 of the Tamil Nadu Co-Operative Societies Act, 1983, the first respondent herein has filed CMA(CS) No. 5 of 2010, before the Co-operative Tribunal/Principal District Court, Dindigul, under Section 152 of the Act and the same was allowed by the Tribunal. Challenging the same, this Civil Revision Petition is filed. 2/4

2.Today(12.08.2024), when this Civil Revision Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the petitioner submits that the first respondent Ganesan, who was working as Assistant in the Palani Co-operative Urban Bank Ltd, Palani has admitted his liability and has paid the surcharge amount as ordered in the surcharge proceedings. Therefore, nothing survives in this Civil Revision Petition for further adjudication. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the first respondent has admitted his liability and has paid the surcharge amount as per the order passed in the surcharge proceedings, this Civil Revision Petition is closed. No costs.
