Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, petitioner's daughter, namely Priya aged 17 years, before this Court and hand over her to the petitioner, who is now detained by the 3rd respondent.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J) The second respondent produced the detenue before us. The detenue informed us that she was forcibly taken by the respondents 3, 4 and few others against her wishes. Subsequently, the police traced out her and produced before this Court from the custody of the third respondent. The detenue wanted to go with the petitioner.

2. According to the detenue, she is facing danger from the respondents 3, 4 and few others. Hence, she seeks police protection. Since the detenue is no longer in illegal custody, nothing survives for adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition. The detenue is permitted to go along with the petitioner. We direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate protection to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner, the detenue and her family members, in view of the apprehension raised by them, in case they approach the police for such protection.

3. This Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above direction.
