JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) The state Government has filed this Writ Appeal challenging the common order dated 20.11.2019 made in W.P(MD)No.20764 of 2015 filed by one Thennarasu. Thennarasu is no more. It appears that even when the writ appeal was filed, he had died.

2.We fail to understand as to how the writ appeal was even numbered by the Registry. The Registry ought to have insisted that the legal heirs be brought on record before numbering the appeal.

3.Be that as it may, no purpose will be served by directing the appellant to bring the legal heirs on record now. Because the said common order was already set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench vide order dated 20.07.2021 in 2/4

W.A(MD)No.979 of 2020 (The Secretary to Government & others Vs C.Tamilselvan) etc batch. The order impugned in this Writ Appeal was reversed by the Hon'ble Division Bench. Aggrieved by the same, the writ petitioner filed S.L.P.Civil Nos.19744 - 19751 of 2021. Vide order dated 12.08.2022 the SLPs were dismissed. Since the order impugned in the writ appeal has already been set aside, no further order is required in this writ appeal.
