O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The detenu was produced before us by the second respondent. The detenu informed us that she is not in illegal custody and she went to Chennai to see her father. By the time, the father has proceeded to Tirunelveli and as such, she could not meet him. Thereafter, on hearing the petition filed by the petitioner, she surrendered before the second respondent. Accordingly, the second respondent produced her before this Court.

2. We have also examined the petitioner and her husband Karuppasamy. The petitioner and her husband agreed to take the detenu.

3. The detenu is a minor. The parents are now prepared to take her to their house. The petitioner also made an endorsement indicating that she received the custody of the minor.

4. In view of the subsequent events relating to the production of the detenu, nothing survives for adjudication in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

5. The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of with the above observation.
