This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register a case based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 12.02.2018 under the provisions of Domestic Violence Act and Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner's complaint has been closed on the basis of the report of the District Social Welfare Officer, Madurai, dated 16.04.2018 and he has also produced the copy of the said report before this Court.

4. In the light of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. It is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate under the provisions of law.
