This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.1213 of 2019 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 147, 341, 323, 448, 506

(1) and 379 IPC.

2. The de-facto complainant Senthilkumar is present in person. He has been duly identified by Mr.S.Saravanan, The Sub-Inspector of Police, Thilagar Thidal Police Station. The de-facto complainant states that the matter has been compromised. A joint memo of compromise has also been filed. Since the de-facto complainant himself does not want to pursue the matter, no purpose will be served in keeping the impugned prosecution alive. The impugned FIR is quashed.
