Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus praying to call for entire records, connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in C.M.P.No.27/2015, dated 31.12.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely Bullet Mani @ Manikandan, son of Ramachandran, aged about 25 years detained in Madurai Central Prison before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to detention order passed in C.M.P.No.27/2015, dated 31.12.2015 by the detaining authority, who has been arrayed as second respondent herein, against the detenu by name Bullet Mani @ Manikandan, son of Ramachandran and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that as per G.O.Rt.No.906 dated 29.02.2016, the detention order in question has been revoked by the Government and to that effect, a copy of G.O.Rt.No.906 has been submitted.

3. Considering the fact that the detention order in question has already been revoked by the Government, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
