ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned IV Additional District Judge, Madurai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.73 of 2015, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent, as plaintiff, has filed the suit in O.S.No.73 of 2015, on 17.04.2015, before the IV Additional District Court, Madurai, for the relief of declaration and partition, against the petitioner and others. He would further submit that the petitioner has filed his written statement as early as on 09.12.2015 and from 06.03.2017, the suit is pending for framing of issues. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

Notice to the respondents is dispensed with, since the prayer itself is for a limited scope seeking early disposal of the suit.

4. Perusal of record shows that right from 06.03.2017, the suit, which is of the year 2015, is kept pending for framing issues.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited scope of the prayer sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the learned IV Additional District Judge, Madurai, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.73 of 2015, within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(RTI) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar(CS-IV) To The IV Additional District Judge, Madurai.
