Respondents Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus praying to call for entire records, connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in C.M.P.No.26/2015, dated 31.12.2015 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu namely Karthik, son of Shanmugam, aged about 20 years detained in Borstal School, Pudukottai before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for records relating to detention order passed in C.M.P.No.26/2015, dated 31.12.2015 by the detaining authority, who has been arrayed as second respondent herein, against the detenu by name Karthik, son of Shanmugam and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has represented that as per G.O.Rt.No.905 dated 29.02.2016, the detention order in question has been revoked and in fact this Court has perused the said G.O, wherein it has been clearly stated that the detention order in question passed against the detenu has been revoked.

3. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the relief sought in the petition has become infructuous.
