To set aside the impugned order passed by the respondent/the Chief Controlling Revenue Authority cum the Inspector General of Registration, Chennai dated 28-01-2022 in NA.KA.5637/N4/2018, confirming the order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 28-09-2017 in NA/KA/Ex.4/80/2017 as against the appellant and allow the appeal. ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.N.DILIP KUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.N.Ga.NATARAJ, Government Advocate on behalf of the Respondents, the court made the following order:- https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CMP(MD) No.6232 of 2022 On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the amount fixed by the respondent is too excessive. The petitioner has paid stamp duty for the admitted value of the property and pray stay order for the demand of excess stamp duty, till the disposal of the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal. The petitioner makes it clear that he is not demanding the original sale deed.

2.The learned Government Pleader undertakes to appear for the respondents.

3.Considering the representation made by both sides, there shall be an order of stay, not to insist for the payment of deficit Court fee, till the disposal of the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal. 4.Hence, this petition is disposed of.
