RESPONDENT/RESPONDENT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to pass an order to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9299 of 2022, Dated. 19.05.2022 on the file of this Hon`ble Court.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.HEROLD SINGH S C, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9299 of 2022, dated 19.05.2022.

2.This Court by an order dated 19.05.2022 granted bail to the petitioners with a condition that the petitioner should stay at Tirunelveli District and report before the Town Police Station, Tirunelveli at 10.30 a.m for a period of eight weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is residing at Kanyakumari District. He is working as carpenter. As per the order of this Court, from 23.05.2022 onwards, the petitioner is staying in Tirunelveli District and till date complying the condition without fail. At the same time, he is not in a position to look after his family. Hence, he come forward with this modification petition and prays to direct him to report before the respondent police at 10.30 a.m for remaining period instead of stay at Tirunelveli District and report before the Town Police Station, Tirunelveli.

CRL MP(MD) No.6480 of 2022 4.Taking into consideration the above facts, the condition imposed by this Court directing the petitioner to stay at Tirunelveli District and report before the Town Police Station, Tirunelveli is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police, daily at 10.30 a.m for remaining period.
