Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent ie., the Chief Information Commissioner, the Tamil Nadu State Information Commission, Chennai for taking appropriate action on the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2021 as per Government of Tamil Nadu in foj vz;/ 8568/ep/r P/III/2020-1 P&AR Department, dated 13.03.2020 and direction to the second respondent ie., the Director, Anna Institute of Management, Chennai to take necessary action regarding release the book "Success Stories" printed by the Director of Anna Institute of Management to know about the functional benefit of RTI Act, within a specified time frame.

************ [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] With the consent on either side, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.We have heard Mr.S.Visvalingam, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3.This writ petition has been filed praying for Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent ie., the Chief Information Commissioner, the Tamil Nadu State Information Commission, Chennai for taking appropriate action on the petitioner's representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.[MD]No.11900 of 2021 dated 27.03.2021 as per Government of Tamil Nadu in foj vz;/ 8568/ ep/r P/III/2020-1 P&AR Department, dated 13.03.2020 and direction to the second respondent ie., the Director, Anna Institute of Management, Chennai to take necessary action regarding release the book "Success Stories" printed by the Director of Anna Institute of Management to know about the functional benefit of RTI Act. 4.It appears that the representation given by the petitioner was forwarded by the Government to the first respondent for appropriate action by Government Letter No.foj vz;/ 8568/ ep/r P/III/2020-1 dated 13.03.2020.

5.Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Commission, on instructions, submitted that no such communication has been received in the office of the Commission. 6.In the light of the said submission, we direct the petitioner to give fresh representation along with a copy of this order and forward the same to the office of the first respondent, who shall consider the same in accordance with law.

7.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
