Respondents PRAYER: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 04.10.2014 preferred by the petitioner challenging the punishment of increment cut for a period of six months with cumulative effect imposed by the 2nd respondent in his office proceedings in Ref.Tha.Aa.Po.Ka/Kumba/Trichy/ D5/5156 /2012, dated 14.05.2014 within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 04.10.2014 preferred by the petitioner challenging the punishment of increment cut for a period of six months with cumulative effect imposed by the 2nd respondent in his office proceedings in Ref.Tha.Aa.Po.Ka/Kumba/Trichy/D5/5156 /2012, dated 14.05.2014 within the time limit.

2. Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned standing counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the appeal of the petitioner, dated 04.10.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
