This Criminal Miscellaneous petition is filed seeking to amend the offence portion, "under Sections 296(b), 132, 351(3) of BNS r/w Section 25(1A) of Arms Act instead of "under Sections 296(b), 132, 351(3) r/w Section 25(1B)(a) of Arms Act" in the order copy and also offence portion of the above petition in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.5939 of 2026 order dated 26.03.2026. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the order copy dated 26.03.2026, the offence portion has been wrongly mentioned as "under Sections 296(b), 132, 351(3) r/w Section 25(1B)(a) of Arms Act" instead of "under Sections 296(b), 132, 351(3) of BNS r/w Section 25(1A) of Arms Act". Therefore, he filed amendment petition to amend the same.

3.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on records.

vsg 4.Considering the fact that the provisions of law have been wrongly mentioned in the order dated 26.03.2026 due to typographical error. The said error has to be corrected.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal miscellaneous petition is allowed as prayed for.

6. Therefore, Registry is directed to carry out the correct the offence portion as "under Sections 296(b), 132, 351(3) of BNS r/w Section 25(1A) of Arms Act" in the order dated 26.03.2026 in Crl.OP(MD).No. 5939 of 2026 and issue fresh order copy. All the other observations made in the order copy dated 26.03.2026 remains intact.
