Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents herein to produce the body of the missing lady, namely, Kavitha @ Thanga Ponnu, wife of G.Ramakrishnan, aged 35 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] We have passed the following order on 11.07.2016:- "The second respondent produced the detenu before us. The detenu informed us that on account of certain misunderstanding, she left the matrimonial home, after leaving the children with her parents. She is presently residing with her parents and she is not in illegal custody. The detenu is a major.
2. Since the petitioner is not present in Court today, we are not in a position to dispose of the matter.
Post the matter on 18.07.2016'.

2. When the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for consideration, the petitioner appeared before us.
3. We have informed the petitioner about the statement made by the detenu on 11.07.2016.
4. The detenu earlier informed us that she was not in illegal custody.
5. The detenu is a major. She is set at liberty.
6. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
