Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to produe the person or body of the detenu of the petitioner's daughter namely Ramalakshmi W/o.Rengasamy, aged 28 years now detained by the 4th respondent before this Court and set her liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the mother of one Ramalakshmi, W/o.Rengasamy, aged 28 years. According to the petitioner, Mrs.Ramalakshmi has been missing from 24.01.2016. Since she has not been secured by the police, despite complaint, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the 2nd respondent produced the detenu before us. The detenu told us that since the 3rd respondent, who is her husband harassed her, she went out of the matrimonial home and lived separately. Now, she wants to go with her mother. Since there is no illegal detention, no further direction is required in this petition. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the detenu to choose her own way of life.
