This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give adequate Police protection for life and limb of petitioner and his family members on the basis of representation, dated 04.05.2022.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that one A.L.Meyyappan has filed a suit against the petitioner before the District Munsif Court, Thanjavur in O.S.No.126 of 2019. On 29.04.2022, while pending of civil suit, on instigation of said Meyyappan, one Bharathidasan and 10 persons had trespassed into petitioner's house with an intent to commit grave offence and damaged the household articles. In this regard, he gave a complaint on 04.05.2022, so far action has not been taken by the second respondent Police.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has accepted that the complaint given by the petitioner on 04.05.2022 is with the second respondent Police.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.10351 of 2022 4.I have considered the submissions made by both parties. Admittedly, civil suit is pending against the petitioner filed by one A.L.Meyyappan, as there was civil dispute between them. The allegation is that on the instigation of Meyyappan, Bharathidasan and others had trespassed into the property and damaged the household articles.
5.Under these circumstances, the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 04.05.2022 and to take suitable action in this regard. 6.With this direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
