For Petitioner : Mr.G.Vishnuram For Respondents : Mr.S.S.Madhavan Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation from the second respondent Police to the third respondent Police.
2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that even after registration of the case in the year 2018, there is no substantial progress, therefore, she sought for transfer of investigation.

It is submitted by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered against the accused persons in Crime No.128 of 2018 for the offence punishable under Sections 451, 342, 392 r/w 397 of IPC and was taken up for investigation and was closed as undeducted. However, the Police in Hyderabad in Crime No. 259 of 2019 has arrested one accused, by name, Amanmathankandu and the fingerprints of the said accused were matched with the fingerprint 2/5
found in this case, thereby, the investigation in this case again has reopened and is proceeding. It is submitted that many cases are pending against him not only in the State of Tamil Nadu but also in the State of Madhya Pradesh and some other States.
4. This Court perused the status report filed by the respondent Police and is satisfied that the investigation is proceeding in the lines required to be proceeded. The learned Government Advocate sought atleast six months time to complete the investigation as the Special Teams have to go over to the other States and complete the rest of the investigation.
5. Accordingly, the respondents Police are directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible not later than six months as requested by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side).
