: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records of the detention order in M.H.S.Confidential No.63/2016, dated 01.06.2016 passed by the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the petitioner's husband Balakrishnan S/o.Subbiah Thevar, aged 39 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

Challenging the detention order passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Tirunelveli, in M.H.S.Confdl.No.63 of 2016, dated 01.06.2016, ordering to detain one Balakrishnan S/o.Subbiah Thevar, the petitioner has come up with this Petition.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that as per G.O.Rt.No.2973, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIV) Department, dated 04.07.2016, the above said detention order has been revoked. 3.In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus petition has become infructuous and accordingly, the same is dismissed as infructuous.
