This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner namely Jeyakeerthi and the petitioner's husband viz., Gunaseelan and his family members. 2.Today, when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that the complaint of the petitioner has been received by the second respondent and based on which, an enquiry has been initiated in C.No.G3/20831/vide 1304/2020 and during enquiry, if it is found protection is required, suitable action will be taken.
