Respondents Prayer:Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to produce the body or person of the detenue namely Gowsalya Devi, W/o.Muthukrishnan, aged 23 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J) The second respondent produced the detenue before us. The detenue informed us that on account of certain misunderstanding, she left the matrimonial home and has been residing at Sivakasi. The detenue is prepared to go with the petitioner. However, the petitioner informed us that it would not possible to take the detenue at present, as his parents are not ready to accept her.

2. The parents of the detenue also appeared before this Court. According to them, they would take the detenue and would try to settle the matter.

3. The detenue is a major. She is set at liberty.

4. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
