.. Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, by name, Davalathu, wife of Nallamohamad, aged 50 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R

*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The detenu appeared before us and informed that she was taken by an agent, by name, Abdulla, to Dubai, under the guise of providing her employment. However, she was taken to Oman. The detenu further informed us that she was made to suffer for days together. Finally, on account of the best efforts taken by the respondents, she was rescued and sent to India. The detenu informed us that she has already preferred a complaint before Sellur Police Station.

2. We direct the Inspector of Police, Sellur Police, Madurai District, to take the complaint on file, investigate the same and bring the offenders to book.

3. Since the detenu is now secured, no further adjudication is necessary in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

4. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
