This writ petition is filed challenging the order dated 20.07.2018, passed by the second respondent.

2. The order impugned in this writ petition states that the claim of the petitioner for grant of regularization is rejected. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner had not set out any claim for regularization of his service, but he made a request for grant of equal pay for equal work.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, based on the representation submitted by the petitioner as well as the order impugned in this writ petition, contended that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.11345 of 2019 the petitioner has made a request for regularization of his service, which was rejected by the Authority concerned.

4. As far as the pay of the employee is concerned, it is to be granted strictly in accordance with the Government Orders in force. The Government has granted consolidated pay for certain category of temporary employees and further granted special time scale of pay in respect of some categories of temporary employees. Those employees are not entitled for regularization on various reasons. However, the consolidated pay or special time scale of pay, as the case may be, is granted by considering the eligibility of the individual employee. In this regard, the respondents are directed to verify the eligibility of the petitioner in accordance with the Government Orders in force and take appropriate decision as expeditiously as possible. However, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief as such sought for in this writ petition.
