Respondents Prayer:Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the person or body of the detenue namely Chithradevi aged 16 years daughter of Solai before this Court and handover her custody to the petitioner. 2. The second respondent, namely the Inspector of Police, Ganeshnagar Police Station, Pudukkottai District, produced the detenue. On enquiry, the detenue stated that she is 16 years old and she herself left the parental home and went to Ernakulam in Kerala and worked there as housemaid. She is now prepared to go along with the petitioner, who is none else than her biological father.
3. The petitioner who is present in Court also identified the detenue. The detenue is handed over to the petitioner.
4. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
