ORDER

The petitioner claiming to be a leader of the community at Uthamapalayam, has lodged a complaint that the respondent police is harassing the petitioner under the guise of inquiry.

2. It appears that the petitioner only lodged a complaint before the respondent police in CSR No.66 of 2026. While so, a counter complaint was lodged as against the petitioner in CSR No.62 of 2026.

3. According to the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), both the complaints are enquired and since the petitioner and the counter petitioner are not co-operating, they have closed the complaints.

4. In view of the submissions of the learned Government Advocate(crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate for the enquiry. The respondent police are not supposed to involve themselves in a civil dispute.
