This petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the second respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 16.06.2018.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the prosecution would submit that the petitioner is one of the depositors in a Chit company, against which complaint was received from one S.Githandra. A case has been registered for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 120(B) IPC and Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, 1997, by EOW Police Station, Dindigul. This petitioner is shown as a witness and therefore, there is no need for one more registration of the case and hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
