Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of MANDAMUS Directing the 2nd Respondent to pass orders to dispose of the Petitioners representation dated 03.03.2026, after conducting a Field inspection and detailed enquiry as per law, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents to take action against the unknown person who is alleged to have been committing theft of electricity from the service connection belonging to another person.

2. Learned Standing counsel for the respondents submitted that after conducting inspection, it was found and there was no commission of theft of electricity.

3. In light of the above, the petitioner had no locus standi to seek a direction to the respondents to take action against the unknown person and therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. 4.There shall be no orders as to Costs.
