O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Nos.1 to 5 not harass the petitioners' under the guise of enquiry, on the instigation of the 6th respondent.

2.Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police. Perused the materials available on record.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondent Nos.1 to 5, on instructions, would submit that on receipt of the complaint, the respondent police conducted the investigation and registered a case against the petitioners in Crime No.228 of 2020 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 406 and 506(ii) IPC. 4.In such circumstances, once a regular First Information Report has been registered, the question of not to harass will not arise. Therefore, if any direction is issued by this Court at this stage, it will amount to interfere with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.

5.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
