(Crime No.64 of 2016) : Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body and limb of the petitioner's father Ganesan S/o.Chinna Nadar, aged 64 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] On Sudhan has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that his father viz., Ganesan S/o.Chinna Nadar, aged 64 years, has been missing from 12.03.2016 and that though a case has been registered in Crime No.64 of 2016 for man missing, based on his complaint, the detenu has not been traced. Hence, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2.We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that due to loss in the business, the detenu left the house on his own volition and that after registering the case, the respondents are taking effective steps to trace out the detenu. The said statement is recorded.
4. In view of the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to take effective steps to trace out the detenu forthwith.
