Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.2 to 5 to take action against the seventh respondent for illegally receiving Rs.3,00,000/- from the petitioner by beating his son Vairamuthuraj in his presence and recover the same from the seventh respondent and hand over it to the petitioner and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent Nos.2 to 5 to take action against the seventh respondent for illegally receiving Rs.3,00,000/- from the petitioner by beating his son Vairamuthuraj in his presence and recover the same from the seventh respondent and hand over it to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner's son was a mentally retarded person and he was taken to the Police Station. To take his son back, when he went to the Police Station, the petitioner was made to spend out a substantial amount of money by the respondent No.7. Alleging that the action of the respondent No.7 which is totally illegal, the petitioner has sent representations, dated 10.11.2014 and 17.11.2014. As the representations have not been disposed of, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the representations before the respondent No.5, dated 10.11.2014 and 17.11.2014, a direction is issued to the said authority to look into the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
