respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to receive the original copy of the free assignment allotted to the petitioner for the land in Survey No. 296-8 to extent of 0.28.5 Vellapatti Village Keela Arasaradi Ottapedaram Taluk Thoothukudi District vide proceedings of the 2nd Respondent in Ni.O.A2/450/02 dated 29.03.2002 and subsequently direct the 2nd respondent to incorporate the petitioners name in village account and all revenue records pertaining to the above land and also upload the same in the computer data maintained by the 2nd respondent and pass such further or other orders. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to direct the second respondent to receive the original copy of the free assignment allotted to the petitioner for the land in Survey No. 296-8 to an extent of 0.28.5, Vellapatti Village, Keela Arasaradi, Ottapedaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, vide proceedings of the 2nd Respondent in Ni.O.A2/450/02 dated 29.03.2002 and subsequently direct him to incorporate the petitioner's name in the village account and all revenue records pertaining to the above land and also upload the same in the computer data maintained by him.

2. Mr.M.Murugan learned Government Advocate takes notice for the official respondents.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation will be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.11.2013, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Since the representation is of the year 2013, the petitioner is directed to enclose the said representation along with a copy of this order for proper follow up.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
