MrV.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to settle the salary and gratuity of the petitioner with interest expeditiously.

4. Since the petitioner has got an alternative remedy before the Labour Court to claim the arrears of salary and to approach the Authority for gratuity under the Payment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of Gratuity Act, 1972, the writ petition is not maintainable. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed.
