respondents This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal petition dated 27.04.2015 within the time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition to consider his appeal/petition dated 27.04.2015, through which he has sought for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the fourth respondent herein, as according to the petitioner, he is the genuine owner of the property in question.

2. Mr.M.Murugan,, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would be suffice if the appeal of the petitioner is disposed of, by the second respondent, on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the appeal of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

6. In view of the above, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the appeal of the petitioner, dated 27.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the fourth respondent as well as the other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
