This petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated, 23.03.2018.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the prosecution would submit that the enquiry into the petitioner is still pending on the file of the respondent. He undertakes that the finality will be given to the said enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the respondent closes the complaint, the closure report will be given to the petitioner immediately thereafter, so that the petitioner can work out his remedy in accordance with law.
