ORDER

The petitioner, claiming to be the brother of the deceased Jeyalakshmi, daughter of Muthusamy, submitted an application dated 11.02.2026 to the third respondent seeking issuance of a legal heir certificate. A subsequent representation was also made on 16.03.2026. The grievance of the petitioner is that no action has been taken by the third respondent on the said application and representation.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's application and subsequent representation would be considered in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.02.2026 and the subsequent representation dated 16.03.2026 on their own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

4. The above exercise shall be completed within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
