O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from interfering with the day-today practice of the Acupuncture System of Treatment carried on by the petitioner, except in accordance with due process of law.

2. Heard Ms. M. Lavanya, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. N. Ramesh Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. The petitioner has completed a course in acupuncture and is running an acupuncture therapy centre. The grievance of the petitioner is that, despite possessing the requisite qualifications, the respondents are interfering with his practice.

4. Mr. N. Ramesh Arumugam, learned Government Advocate for the respondents, submitted that the respondents are not interfering with the petitioner's practice and that any action, if required, would be taken only in accordance with law. The said submission is taken on record.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner's practice except by initiating appropriate proceedings in accordance with due process of law.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.
