O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the detenu viz., Ramana D/o.Manivasagam, aged about 17 years. She has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that the detenu has been found missing from 15.07.2016. It is also alleged that the third respondent had kidnapped her and in respect of the same, a case has been registered in Crime No.45 of 2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent.
2. When this petition came up for hearing before the earlier Division Bench of this Court on 09.08.2016, the detenu was produced and on enquiry, she told that she was not interested in going with her parents. Therefore, she was directed to be kept in Sakthi Vidiyal Home. Today, the detenu is produced before this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Court. Now she has attained majority and she has right to choose her own way of life. On enquiry, she states that she would go with her mother. The said statement is recorded.
