Prayer in Habeas Corpus Petition(MD).NO.967/2016: Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court will be pleased to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the detenu or his corpus namely Aniswar, S/o.M.Ashokumar, aged about 16 years, before this Honourable Court and handed over custody to the petitioner forthwith.

Having argued the matter at length, the learned Senior counsel Mr.ARL.Sundaresan, submitted that he would withdraw this petition and therefore the same may be rejected. Accordingly, this petition is rejected.
